Getting a watch strap adjusted

I just got a new watch off the wife, its a Breil Globe BW0167, trouble is the strap needs adjusting.

I live in Preston, anyone know of any decent places i can go to, or shall i just take it to say Debenhams or somewhere similar ?

I would suggest any high street jeweller would do this for you, can you take it back to the shop where it came from as they should do it free of charge?
