He does have human rights. We live in a civilised society, so he has the right to be fed, to sleep on a bed, to have an adequate toilet and washing facilities and to be visited by his family; he has the right not to be tortured or to suffer any cruel punishment but little beyond that.

The issue seems to be the poorly worded and even more poorly interpreted EU Human Rights legislation. Blaming the Germans/French is foolish though. They all have to operate under the same legislation but its only here that its constantly exploited for their personal gain (and legal aid cheques) by litigious parasitic solicitors.

It isnt possible to 'sign-away legal rights' by the way...

Yes and thats it. I'm sure, Gym, pool tables, TV are not part of the Human Rights act. Prisoners live better than most of the people they affect! They forget they're in prison for a reason, its meant to be punishment, these days, in this country its a joke!

This country is getting soft, murders can go free from court so long as they promise not to do it again Life sentence should mean life in prison, not 15 years but only do 5 for keeping your head down.

Is it any wonder people like this are walking all over the prison system, the worst part is, he'll win and get let out and then all of a sudden, he's the victim when someone from the girls family "pays him a visit"
