He's worth $14billion, so I believe he is allowed to jump around the stage like a crazy. Steve Ballmer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Just because you are rich it does not mean that you are exempt from criticism or that all types of behaviour is allowed or is cool.

I think a better phrase is that he probably doesn't give a stuff what people think of him bouncing around a stage becuase he's the one with $14Billion in his pocket.
Sounds like a complete nutter. Must be entertaining working with him.

ANYONE can jump around on stage like that, money does not come into it. However, what this does show is that there is no correlation between money, and good taste. The guy is obviously a complete moron, who got lucky.

Oh dear.
There's being funny, and there's being a *******.
Still, it sounds like the sycophantic crowd loved it although judging by how knackered he was from that little "show" he may not be around for long.

I'm guessing this is the infamous vid of him running around the stage whooping, or the "Developers!, Developers!, Developers!" rant (think that could be in the one video).
He's also known for throwing chairs around meeting rooms.
If you ran MS would you allow your CEO (or whatever his title is/was) to behave in this fashion? Granted there is no such thing as bad publicity and his acts get people talking, but not necessarily in the right way about MS.
Having said this, his boss seems to believe Mac OS X experiences a complete and total exploit every week, so perhaps they are both as mad as each other and so don't notice it?

Just because you are rich doesn't mean you don't care what people say. Look at Bill Gates rant earlier this week - he lost it over Apple and their advertisements and totally missed all the irony with the following statement.
"I don't think the over 90 per cent of the [population] who use Windows PCs think of themselves as dullards, or the kind of klutzes that somebody is trying to say they are," said Gates.

The problem as I see it with Microsoft is that they were in the right place at the right time......
They fail to recognize this and they think they are some sort of business gods.
Is the Xbox 360 any good(when you consider how much resource Microsoft have put into it)............ no
I don't know whether anyone has played with a Zune but it is nowhere near as good as an iPod (it only has two to three hours battery life)
So they better hope people keep misguidedly buying Windows.

And again, what has the size of his bank balance got to do with it? Look at the video, the guy is obviously retarded.
