I'm trying to get my second bank account verified on Paypal after verifying my first account last year with no problems at all. For some reason, Paypal keeps asking me to "supply merchant information" and asking for VAT numbers and business info. I didn't do any of this last year and it worked fine. I thought I'd ask on here first before trying to go through Paypal customer service which I imagine will be a chore. Every link I click on takes me to the same merchant page.

Anybody got an idea what is going on?

Surely somebody must have an inkling what is going on? Has anybody verified an account over the last couple of days without entering merchant info?

Paypal are totally ignoring my email enquiries.

Not verified recently myself, I did mine about 2 years ago. Maybe it's because you're adding a 2nd account?

Have they got a phone number you can call?
