Appears the net is closing doesn't it. I just hope they nail him while he's still in No.10, it will leave much more of a lasting legacy than if it happens after he's gone.
I wonder if he actually worries about this, or if he thinks he's beyond reach.

"A spokesman for Lord Levy said he "completely denies any allegations of wrongdoing whatsoever".
Of course he does - the stupid ******* can't tell right from wrong anymore.

Am I the only person with an "I told you so" attitude to this - you could just tell that the hole peerage system was going to be ripe for abuse as soon as politicians could decree who did and didn't get in the house of lords in order to ensure their badly thought out and plainly rediculous laws get past the Lords (which has always shown infinity more sense than the Commons ever has).
A bunch of non-elected Labour cronies or non-elected toffy nosed lords? I know which one I'd rather have any day.

Downing Street is remaining silent about allegations of a possible cover-up following the arrest of the party's chief fundraiser Lord Levy.
Last week Downing Street denied allegations it had a hidden e-mail system from which messages were deleted after the cash-for-honours inquiry began.
But the BBC's political editor Nick Robinson said the police clearly believed they were not being given all the information they needed - even after searching government computers.

It says now that Billy is trying to get the Eu constitution affair all opened up again so that he can sign us up to it before he leaves and to leave the decision for a referendum with Flash just to make life as difficult as possible for him as well. The constitution will be called by a different name of course to try to con us yet again. He hasn't got anything else to leave as a legacy, unless its a spell inside. Perhap's thats why he has ensured that the prisons are all full up!

His Tonyness can see the shadow of the long arm of the law...
I feel sorry for the people that have paid good money into this scheme and were expecting peerages. It's a bit like the Farepak collapse for the wealthy!
