Not sure but they have a high turnover of employees
You ain't considering it are you
Have you seen the vid where the escorted convoy takes a wrong turn the mob kills 2 of the drivers before the army could turn round to rescue them......
Not enough money for that job.

there is a massiave logistic company out there in iraq, but im not sure of the name something like:
K.C.B or R.G.B
they pay $100000 a year for a driver, it classed as one the most dangerous jobs in the world. They have all sorts of jobs out there, from store man to chef. I think are in afghan as well.

On one hand you have $100,000 p.a. (tax free?). On the other hand, if you're unlucky, expect to lose your head at the very least.
Not really a long term career option is it?

Just watched the Beeb programme on al-quaeda and the internet. A muslim Londoner was hosting a site with graphic videos. The interviewer said "But you host videos of contractors getting their heads cut off?" The guy shook his head and corrected the interviewer "Soldiers". Interviewer: "No, no, these are just workers, contracted..." "No, they're all soldiers."
I'll stick with the dole queue thanks.

KBR is the big employer, owned by Halliburton who in turn has Dick Cheney as one of the directors.
I have been escorting convoys there in the past months, all the drivers i saw were phillipinos or Fijian or all non-europeans, we escort at a ratio of 1 vehicle in every 6 must be a british armoured vehicle of sorts, max of 36.
US does nor have a set ratio, i have seen 100+ vehicles escorted by one military at front, back and one in the middle,Mental
All HGV1 though.
a lot of the phillipinos etc have sighns in the window with stuff like JESUS IS THE ONE etc, made us chuckle anyway.lol
Good luck.

Hmmmm, Philipinos and Fijians are much cheaper to employ and less grief for the west if they go missing, etc. No bodybags and grieving families on TV in the UK, Europe or USA or messy follow up enquiries and paperwork to fill out

regardless of your commitments and family ties here and no matter how much money you need, DON'T DO IT. The sh*ts are pyscopathic killers so don't give the the opportunity to kill you for their own sick egos. You can make money on the oil rigs if you are that desperate. Stay out of the Middle East mate, there are plenty of nicer places to go. Surely you can get a job in this country and live to enjoy your earnings imho
