traffic lights question
say u aproach a set of traffic lights on a dual carriageway-the lights are on red so u stop-then lights go to green -can u turn right even if ur right filter arrow isn't lit up green or not? or when that lights up is it just to give u extra time for turning right but u can turn right even if its unlit ( obviously barring any traffic coming other way?)

If the right filter has its own red light, then NO ! If however the right filter green arrow is on its own (no red or amber directly above it) you may turn right if it is safe to do so, considering the priority of oncoming traffic.

if its green anyway the filter light usually just pops up to mean that you can turn (usually in the knowledge the other directions lights are now showing red)
