Question Courier to Eire?

Any recommendations for a reliable courier to ship a pack from UK to Eire. Speed not of the essence. Value £1000, weight less than 5 kgs. Not overlarge.
I have quotes for 2 day insured service from Amtrak (cheapest), UPS, Fedex and TNT (most expensive). I know Parcel Force do a cheap service but I'd rather avoid them. If anyone has another please advise with a contact number if possible. Or any comments on my list. Thanks, dl

Hales Freight

01279 421 122

If you use them it'll probably be my dad that does the collection.

Thanks again. But I am really looking for some one to say "We use xxx all the time and they're great" or "Don't touch xxx with the proverbial - keep losing the packs and are always late". d
