Default navman users? help needed please

hi all

i have a navman INC 330

Ok..when i type in a postcode -then after the 4/5th digit it always says "no matching postcode"

So i have to manually search for the street name and number, which takes longer and also it really likes to have the building number added, but i cant always get these with hotels and indusrial estates.

i have used a garmin before and found it real easy?

am i doing something wrong/being thick?

aaron.

I dont think thr navman has full postcode facility. Not sure about yours but i use the 520,and i only have to type in the fist 3 digits(2 letters 1 number),then i pick from the list the next number, then go to"find street".

No that is Navman. Mine is a different model but it's exactly the same. They don't have full postcode recognition which has generally means I end up programming the thing with the aid of google maps!

No Full Postcode recognition ... as has been said

I bought the NavMan F20 on Xmas Eve - wouldn't even work out of the box!!

Took it back, followed the crowd, bought a TomTom ONE and not looked back - the volume increase/decrease dependant upon speed is a fantastic winning touch!
