Default Agency web sites with CV's - can your employer see them?

Just wonder if anyone knows about CV's on agency websites and if your employer (as found out they have an account with that agency) can view your CV on their site? Agency I'm talking about is reed.co.uk.

Of course they can see them if they look

Typically agencies will refrain from reselling their services back to your employer however - they have to draw the line somewhere

Try using Monster then everyone can have a look see

Rats! I thought it was a perfect world in which they could block firms looking at their own employee's cv...I've taken it off quickly but think they already know I'm looking.

If you are a good worker they may well get you in and offer you some incentives to stay.

Colleague of mine had his CV sent to another company in the same group as ours by an agency. Didn't go down too well

At this stage I'd prefer to move on, even if couple of grand put on the deck! Job is a joke at times.
