Sales Rep salary / 2nd income
I am sales rep at preset and earn 25k plus commison but its really hard to hit the targets so i dont tend to get a lot of commison.
Once i take out my company car tax my salary is not that great.
I currently sell garden giftware. My question is are then any other sales jobs out there that pay a lot better than others and also a bit more interested.
I see a lot of job adverts but i dont no wheather they would be any better than my current job. There must be some sales rep on here, has any one found a good industry to work in ?
Or should i take up a 2nd job ? If so any ideas

(Tele) Communications or finance (merchant bank) pay highly.
But like most things, salary will be dependant on experience and track record. If you are good and with the right company, the industry sector shouldn't matter too much.
Try a magazine called The Grocer for various sales opportunities. Otherwise get yourself a couple of decent specialist recruiters and get your CV up on all the websites. If a role you see advertised interests you, make enquiries and apply, if the salary or projected salary is not good enough you don't have to accept and every interview is invaluable experience!
