What's so amazing 
Looks like laptop TFT LCD screens. Not really too much work to make them bigger, 17" is commonplace on Apple Macbook Pro's.

Actually making bigger LCD screens without hot pixels is really hard - but that 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio should be what looks really impressive. I've yet to see any LCD display a proper deep black, but that OLED screen should be able to without any problem - it can just turn unwanted LEDs off rather than having to block out the light as an LCD does.
