CV Writing.
Can anyone suggest a company to help me with writing my CV (IT Manager)? Preferably someone you have had experience with, as after doing a google search, it seems as there are hundreds of companies to choose from.
Maybe looking to change my job and need to bring it up to date.
Thanks.
Carl.

you're an it manager and can't write your own cv?
make it clear and concise
section it into
- personal details (no dob); name, address, driving license, email, mobile
- maximum 2 sentences to describe yourself and role; "I am an experienced IT manager of 10 years and..."
- key skills; skill, years, level: experience, guru/advanced/proficient/some experience
- employment experience, recent to past; date from/to, role, responsibilities, major achievements
- brief outline of education
- relevant info (3 sentences max)
no more than 2 pages

If you google there will be be plenty of sites that give advice for free, with examples. Browse several and you'll find that most point to doing it the way ChefDude says above.........
Another tip is to have your own business cards - with your name, address, contact details on it. Something plain but professional looking - you can even get kits to print them out these days. that way if you meet someone who could be a useful contact, employment wise, you can pass them your personal details. Much easier than 'have you got a pen and paper?' .... Or if you get an interview via a recruitment consultant you can pass your card to the interviewer so that he has your contact details as the RC will have removed them from your CV.
Oh, and in case you haven't twigged, the best way to get a new job is NETWORKING, NETWORKING, NETWORKING, NETWORKING, NETWORKING AND MORE NETWORKING ......
Good luck!
