Climate change has been in the news quite a bit lately, I'm surprised you've not heard about it.

Whether it is being caused by man or not, I don't think anyone can deny that it's happening and it's pretty serious.

I doubt it. I watched the forecast on french telly lsat night and it's clear skies all the way for the foreseeable future....keep praying.

I think its more a case that the seasons are shifting, there has been snow in the middle of May for the last few years in Meribel - which is a low resort, Plus its pretty cold out there -11 yesterday in the 3 Valleys so can't really say its warmed up!!

Just because there is general global warming, doesn't mean we're never gonna have freezing cold days, it just means the average temperature is going up.

In fact climate change seems to be causing more unpredictable weather, so there may be severe cold spells, but overall, it's warming up!

We are basing everything on the last few years, slight increase on average, human lifespans are too short to really put any context into the figures, not saying its not happening but I really dont think that the carbon emissions are the whole reason.

One crap skiing season is not evidence, its happened before, I was Skiing on Grass and rocks in Risoul in 1986, then it was just a crap snowfall, now its global warming, last few times I have been to Les Gets have been good, one year it didnt stop, they were complaining of too much snow, four feet in a couple of days and that was only about 2002.

I want a really ****ty evil couple of months next year, just to shut the doomsayers up a bit.

Anyway Arron, if it is indeed global warming, who is it that got a honking great V8 (albeit diesel) 4*4 on order ?

There was a reasonable amount in Andorra last week A good week of snowboarding all round . There wasn't much in the way of new falls though. I counted about 5 flakes of snow all week. Nice though, and the first time I've been around those parts.

That's one hell of an indoor slope there. We need one over here

Nipped up a mountain with a couple of friends. (German Alps) Not long ago . We were up there in Tshirts! We really need some snow now. just for all the local economies around here!
