what to do with 3 acres of land
theres 3 acres of land near me going for sale. its a field off a country lane. if i bought it, what could i do with it? any ideas? my only thought at the moment is turn it into a car park and charge for staying as we're a mile from an airport.

We've got five acres here - The place had been left (old nursery) for years and is mostly overgrown.
House now sorted, and I am now a strimming (as in heavy duty brushcutter) ninja!
Plan to grow lots of stuff on it.
Nice view too (from our lounge and two of the bedrooms)...

You could always put an equestrian centre on it - some big money in that

Speaking as a property developer.
There are snow ***** swimming about in molten larva with better chances than you have of gaining consent for anything approaching a profitable development on what appears to be green belt land.

Buy the land and then paint a big sign on the ground that says this:-
Airport (with arrow pointing to airport)
Try Not To Crash
This Time!

Mark it out with string into plots. Put a board outside saying plots for sale ST planning permission.
Read that some guy did this and made a few million after buying some agriculture land for a few grand. Was zero hope of planning permission, but he sold everything.
