halflife is absolute ****e without a mouse. I have WRC sitting bside me, but I be toooooo drunk to turn the PS on. OOps!!!!!

I've just been handed a 200 quid voucher for Game by the MD (for most productive business unit - I thought it was a P45 for too much muppeting ) What I need to know now is what 5 games to buy with it. SSX Tricky and WRC will probably be two of them. I have GTA3 and all the older stuff, so I am looking for everyone to post their favourite 3 games

Fast bloke go and get Red Faction it will have you hooked for hours if not days. And also get it for the pc because you can go online and fight people all around the globe in death matches, team death matches and capture the flag. A truly awesome game.

Fortunatelyt the PS2 has a quite a smattering of good games now its been out for a year in the UK (2 years in Japan or whatever)
I'd go for:
SSX Tricky
Best snowboarder full stop. You may not like it at first, but then you realise the depth the game has got and you'll play it for weeks and weeks until you finish it and unlock all the tracks.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
Played the first two and they're unbelievably addictive, again playing all thw way thru til you unlock all tracks.
Pro Evo Soccer
The best football game on any platform bar none.
Metal Gear Solid II
Out early next year - don't miss. Tecbnical masterpiece. I've got it now, heheh!
Devil May Cry
From the makers of Resident Evil - this is there attempt to move the genre on and they did a brilliant job.
Gran Theft Auto III
A lot of people on here love this game. I've not played it, as I'm keeping it til christmas, but all the mags raved about it too.
ICO
One of Playstation2's best kept secrets. Released a few months ago, it was pushed very hard advertising wise so not many people have heard of it. Its the finest 'puzzle adventure game' on the PS2. Think Lucasarts games like Grim Fandango, Sam & Max, Sierra games like Space Quest. Top game.
Resident Evil - Code Veronica
One of my favourites, although not to everyone's taste. If you ever enjoyed Resident Evil, buy this - its by far the best of the series so far.
I'm probably forgetting a few, but the games I've mentioned are top quality.

Time Crisis - fantastic fun when linked with another machine.
GTA3 - you've got it and I think it's currently the best game available on the PS2
WRC - v.poor

What about Burnout? Might be good for a laugh?
