Question

I need to be in the garage a lot from Mid-December to the new year. "When you've got that car finished ... (a classic car restoration, 13 years so far) ... maybe we can get another" she says.

So its gonna be cold. So I thought about a propane powered space heater, but don't know much about about them. There are a couple at www.machinemart.co.uk - a (very?) tiny one at about £100 and a bigger one at about £187.

Like:
- do they throw out a lot of moisture (bad news with all that bare metal and primer-only bodypanels)?
- how many BTU's do I need for a double garage (integral with house on two walls, one side having an outside wall with a relatively uninsulated pitched roof, and the fourth side having two metal up and over doors)?
- what are the running costs?
- are there 'better' makes than the Clarke stuff from Machine Mart?
- what else should I ask?

TIA
