Stealing from a thief? eBay moral dilemma!
A person I deemed to be a "scammer" (no feedback, unverified address in Eastern Europe) used buy-it-now to purchase a $300 camera from me last month. I refused to send it to him for the above reasons and did not accept his payment.
Now the $300 is still sitting there in paypal waiting for me to accept it, and tomorrow is the last day before it is taken back to his account.
It's obviously wrong, and I shalln't be accepting the money, but it is tempting
to accept it as it's been sitting there a month! And to be honest, the only reason I shalln't be accepting it is I know it will get taken back at some point! Oh, and I'm an honest person!
