Christmas Trees :D

If you have been responsible for the felling of a healthy tree for the sake of christmas then you should be denied the oxygen that tree would have yielded in reaching maturity.
Not for the sake of the tree by the way... just because I'd get off on watching some fake-smiling christmas gimp gasping for oxygen.

No, mine's going up next weekend. Plastic one though - new lights too!!
Having said that, there's several houses round the town that have already put everything up. Went up about 2 weeks ago!!
Just wrong.

We put out tree up and all the decorations yesterday and I must say it's looking very festive
21 days to go and we still have heaps of stuff to get sorted and still got more presents to buy
Time to start panicking.

We've got a cheap plastic tree for our daughters bedroom.
Its really authentic, it drops its leaves just like a real one

Humbug.
Never put up a Christmas tree, or any decorations for that matter. Christmas is ****, full stop. To commercialized these days. Christmas starts in what seems like October.
Why, if you don't have children, do people still feel compelled to spend money (sometimes hundreds) on buying presents for people????
I hate receiving presents. If I want something I'll go out and buy it. Parents go mad with me every year. They ask what I want for Christmas, and all I want is the latest Clarkson Dvd.
Christmas day is the second most annoying and hateful day, second only to New years eve.

Isnt it supposed to be 12 days before xmas, and then taken down 12 days after ?
Last year I tried to beat the xmas rush for buying presents etc, so I did it a whole 12 months earlier, queues were just the same as usual
Half the street have got theres up now, way too early, I got two trees and a wall tree, as DK says, dont know where they are going to go yet
I would say that there isnt enough room to swing a cat, but there is, cos I caught DK1 doing it the other week, my poor little piphead
still havent got enough wrapping paper yet either

PMSL, I have NEVER done that to piphead, I wouldn't either, that would just be cruel She's OK, for a cat, I suppose Even if she does have a habit of leaving huge dead mice on the drive
Some houses are so covered with lights and decorations that they don;t look like houses any more Some people go waaaaaaaaaaay over the top these days, Christmas should go back to how it was years ago, a lot more traditional and a lot less commercial, otherwise, what's the point?

Probably, makes me laugh those who put them up so early, there's not really much point in it, they're up for long enough as it is, without them being put up that early!
