BBC political correctness/Global warming
Did anyone see "Coast" on BBC2 showing the Newcastle to Hull section?
Apparently Kittywakes are becoming rare on this stretch of coast because in the last 25 years the sea temperature has risen by 1 degree Celcius and this has decimated the fish that the Kittywakes eat.
So it's all down to global warming and has nothing to do with EU policies allowing overfishing of the North Sea and decimation of the fish so that the kittywakes have nothing to eat.
My bottom!

Indeed. I've also noticed how programmes like Countryfile are now changing their traditional values to the government 'climate change' 'gobal warming' agenda.
It's all very sad the way it's gone in this country.

I remember the day when that big chinese container ship docked. The BBC news spent 15 minutes spouting about climate issues and transport policy, and then never mentioned how much diesel that beheamoth must have consumed on its 14,000 mile journey carrying 20 squillion tonnes of cheap plastic tat here from China

I don't suppose that the fact that the Danes have been catching 500,000 tons a year of sand eels to feed their pigs has anything to do with it. That's why Danish bacon always tastes fishy.

The BBC is just part of the government propaganda machine these days.
The government threatened their Charter if they didn't starting singing off their song sheet a while back..
They arn't going to brainwash me.
