nah blind as bat since age 6............however due to muscles relaxing as you get older (hence long sightedness), I'm wondering if by about 80 or so I'll have 20:20 vision

yep, over time they can get worse or better, shortsightedness tends to slowly correct istelf as tyou get old, some poeple end up long sighted in later years.

while we are on the subject, can ayone reccomend any decent shades for driving at night...

It's ok until a car comes in the opposite direction, then autopilot needs to take over...

think you'd look quite sexy in glasses sara?

as far as your original question...

i was born bog-eyed and had the corrective operation at 18 months old. corrected it but i still have a lazy eye. decent enough vision. but have this wierd thing where i can look at two perspectives of things, through one eye at a time. bit wierd and makes my eyes ache, but a quality party trick.

Sara,

you know what they say about what makes you blind

So does abstinence make it better again

i belive that if you are short sighted it may correct itself if you are no more than -2 but it is possible that you will end up needing your normal glasses for distance and reading glasses for close up.
