Default Philips 42" plasma - £899 ???

Anyone any knowledge off the Philips 42pf5321i plasma tv ?? noticed an advert in one off the national papers for this particularl set being sold by Dixons at £899 with free delivery and a free glass stand apparantly worth £200.

price is only available to online customers, just wonder if anyone knows anything about them ?? any other 42" plasmas around this price worth considering ???

lastly, sure I have seen a few 10% online discount vouchers on the net recently for dixons, likely to be able to be used with this type off purchase ?? would certainly save myself a few quid if so !!!

MIght not be HD.. however the price of big screen TV/monitors has been plummeting recently - 24" HD LCD PC monitors can be got for 349quid and 32" HD LCD TV's are down to under 400

Very hard to resist at the moment!

The resolution is only 852 x 480, ie less than HD - and they'd be spashing "HD READY" all over the pic if it was HD

Still the HD version is only 70quid more

Like the idea off the 10% discount, free dvd recorder and free xbox but sounds a bit too good to be true and dont actually see any off this mentioned anywhere on there site ??!!

would probably spend the extra £70 and go for the HD version.
