Gas bill!!!!
Just got our gas bill for the last quarter and I think its a fooking joke!!! We had a big bill last quarter aswell as the woman at customer service said we were paying too little each month so had to pay more at bill time!!
There is only 2 of us in the house and have got a brand new boiler that has only been on water only until recently, have a gas fire that we never use.....we hardly cook so never use to gas cooker.
Have no idea why a quarter bill should be 350 quid then!!!
Gonna give them a ring and ask them to come out and test the meter cos theres deffo something a miss!!!
Anyone got examples of their gas bills please??

prices are rising fast! Hope that's not genuine... but I fear it could be.
The situation with gas will only get worse. Russia will start pumping more and more to China cutting supplies here... did you see that program on the TV about it?
Shame we frittered away our reserves like their was no tomorrow.

Make sure it's not an estimate reading.When i first bought my property all that was in was an old combi boiler,Gas fire in the living room no CH.It should state on your bill if it is an estimate reading,check your meter against the reading on the bill.
I have both duel fuel with BG and they estimated my electricity bill for about 3 years.Bill arrived one day and i was in credit with them by £478,and i only pay £10 direct a week on both accounts.
Make sure its not an estimated reading on your bill.

what about your boiler not working properly?????
I have an old back boiler and when i moved in it wasnt working properly and most of the gas was just going straight up the chimney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the bill was £360 for the 1/4, got it serviced once i found out the problem and the next 1/4 was £60!!!
