I have a set of the Sennheiser headsets and cant fault the sound or voice quality. The ear pads do get a bit hard after wearing them for some time but thats more a personal thing

I have the Zalman 5.1 Headphones with Logitech USB Mic. Excellent kit but not bank breaking.

Edit Just relised you're looking for something with a built in mic, My wife has the Medusa 5.1 USB Hardphones and they are bloody good tbh.

I've got the sennheisers as well and cannot fault them.

Long lead with volume and mic on/off switch. Excellent sound and good mic. A lot of the cheaper sets don't have very good mics. I play with a few mates and we all ended up buying sennheisers because the voice quality was the best we had heard.

They are quite light aswell which makes a big difference if you are wearing them for ages. Some of the big sets are fairly heavy. These are comfy to wear for hours.

Hey Mate,

They work damn well tbh. I was a little skeptical to start with but soon got used to them. Heres whats inside them:

They do actually work really really well and at around 」35.00 a set they are well worth it. I play CounterStrike:Source and find these a major advantage. Awesome for watching movies as well. More details in the link:

I like the answer's & results you people have given me but im more after something that DOES NOT RUN ViA USB !

All my USB ports are at the back of my tower + its so long when ur moving about when you need to get something which is only like 3 feet away from you, you wouldhave to take them off first..

Im more after the once that you people have shown me but runing via the headphone & mic socket.. anymore results pls ?

The seinnhauser have USB AND standard phono - simple plug fitted so you can choose

Oh, and the 5.1 sound works through standard 'phones when you connect to an X-fi...

Just got a pair of those Zalmans from Ebay this morning, not had a chance to try them yet. They are not USB but plug into the surround sound sockets on the sound card.

Sennheisers have a 3m cable that would be one hell of a pc case if they werent long enough. I have mine plugged in the front and can walk round the room to get things.

Cheers for explaining mate, you didn't have to pull your headphones apart to illustrate how they work though!
