Poor Guy

i got some torrents (from axxo on torrentspy), great video quality, but no sound. the video is in avi, i canverted it to wmv but still no sound. it claims in the info there is 2channel sound. also, this occurs on another video from the same chap.

any ideas?

Not if he already owns it on another format and is using it as a personal back up

But there again he might not be doing that

It's a sore point with me as I work in that industry, even personal backups are illegal in the UK under current laws.

Is that right? Can you point to that legislation as my understanding is that personal back up is allowed. Is the law different for visual arts and music?
