DECT Phones, I am looking at a triple - with answerphone.

Whats best?

What advantages have they over, say 3 cordless phones which are not the same?

I like:-

Comet - Portable Technology - Phones & Mobiles - IDECT - Digital telephone with answermachine - 3 handsets

 

I too am looking to change my DECT phones.
ATM I have the BT Calypso and they have been very disappointing.
The sound quality is terrible. I have had an engineer check the line and he says the problem can only lie with the phones themselves.
I'd be interested to hear everyones thoughts on other models out there.

The last DECT phones I had were terrible, I could barely hear what was being said.

I have these as well, small and lightweight, good clairty and features and pretty good battery life when wondering about the place talking bollox for hours to anyone that will listen.

 

Now, does each phone base need to be plugged into the mains?

 

Yeah, the 'main' base is a little larger and is the only one that need plugging into the phone line, the others just need mains so that the recharable batteries are kept topped up, the base on these are small and more descrete.
