Want to get the girlfriend an ipod speakers and not sure what to get. Seen the Ipod Hifi and really like it Ipod Hifi This is lovely but a little more then i want to spend. Anyone got any other suggestions?

The Apple Hi-fi is overrated and overpriced.

There are a wide variety of different systems but depends whether you want one that is portable or one that is permanently in one place (ie to replace a stereo)

I got the Logitech MM50 from Amazon for 62 quid. The sound is top class, brilliant for the money.

I got the Bose soundock and I really like it, Just want I wanted and the performance/sound is what I like.

Go for the iPod hi-fi there is no other option accept no substitutes it really is one amazing piece of kit.

Got the Altec-Lansing In Motion jobber which I love. Fantastic sound, remote control loads of output options and you can run it off batteries for those beach parties, bbqs etc.

Bottom line is you must go and listen to a selection armed with your own music.

Bose system for me too, great sound, looks good, and does not take up much room. A bit of wedge, but cheaper in states, so if you are off there or know anybody else who is, ask them to put one in their suitcase for you.
