Is it possible to find out where phone numbers are coming from?

Default Is it possible to find out where phone numbers are coming from?
Found a pile of 0901xxxxxxxx numbers on my latest phone bill - lasting 29 seconds each (dialled a minute apart) and costing either 85p or 50p. No idea what they relate too - the only piece of kit plugged into my phone line is my Sky+ box but Sky says the numbers aren't related to them.

Any service or website out there that lets me put a number into it and gives me the destination?

Could be a computer virus, do you use dial-up for internet access?
