Q Anyone got or used an N73?
As the title,
i,m due an upgrade next month, and am toying with an n73 or a K800i
ive got a K750i and like the camera, but as the phone was a gprs upgrade, its totally devoid of any 3rd party stuff (i mode etc) so web browsings a bit naff.
like the look of the N73, (zeiss lenses) and i havnt had a nokia for donkys,
then again i like the fact that the SE takes bracketed (is it or just burst) shots you can then choose the best shot, the K750 does this too btw
and its got a xenon flash
anyone got either, and can give me an honest opinion

Ive got a k800i i would not bother mate its less than a mont and a half old, the little joystick, gets dust inside of it and has a mind of its own, the phone also does not save your incoming or missed calls, so you cant access numbers that have just called you.

On my last trip to the states, I was able to go online on the phone, login to ba.com, and online check in for my flight as soon as it opened, including moving my seat on the map shown, all without leaving the restaurant I was in. Took a couple of minutes.
Seriously impressed with it- the detail is fantastic.

I can confirm that the K800 saves all incoming outgoing and missed calls, but my last Nokia 6230i also had an option to tell me the time and date of the last 6 or so calls of a paticular number, unlike the K800 which only shows the last one.

I just got an N73 and upgraded from a K750i. I too was choosing up between the N73 and K800i. I got a K800i for someone else on our talkplan and so had a little comparison. Despite the Zeiss lenses in the N73 the K800i has an image stabiliser and so gives better pics. The screen on the N73 is bigger higher res and a fair bit clearer. Build quality wise the Sony wins hands down, feels much more solid than the cheap plasticky feel of the Nokia. The Nokia memory cards are a load cheaper though - 2Gb for £27 versus £37 for a 1Gb card in the Sony. The Symbian OS on the Nokia can be a bit slow sometimes. Also it does not play Java games fullscreen which is a pain, but this might be cured with future firmware. Web browsing on the N73 is really good though.

I have had SE in the past and there was a way to get the time date of all calls in the order called but I can`t remember how to do it now maybe yours is set this way but they are not like this from the factory.

On the K800 and my daughters 810 it would only show as 9.15 there is no way of knowing about the 9.00 o clock call even though it would tell me I have 2 missed calls.
