Hi All,
I work for a company called Softcat Plc http://www.softcat.com.
Background we are No 1 in the UK for Microsoft OLP Licensing, we deal with all AV Vendors at a Platinum level. Also all hardware and networking products plus firewalls etc etc.
I know it pretty much back to front, without blowing my own trumpet. So there we go...

Another contractor/MD here!
Mikey - ScoobyNet job forum is a top idea!
I guess I'm a bit different from all you dedicated techie guys - I'm a Technical Author (a what? they always say! )
I produce manuals, guides, online help (Just press F1 - OK!!), web sites, or anything else with words in it really!
Had some help from guys on here before now (cheers - you know who you are).
Like Plantie says, he's looking for work for me, but if anyone needs something written from December on (other than your thank you letters to Gran!), give me a shout! I'm in the "leisured classes" from the end of November
Cheers,
Steve

Also in IT
Sell websites, domains, hosting etc through day
Design websites through the night.
Mikey - I tried running the jobs forum past SDB about 6 months back but no joy. I think it would be great to have a sort of "Networking" forum, as in job networking not computer networking.

Me too, me too....
I also work in the wonderful world of IT :-)
A jobs forum sounds like a wicked idea, looking forward to see how this progresses.
I specialise in nearly all of the MS products, Firewall-1 and Mimesweeper based products.

Why cant someone start one for dummies as I'm sure it would proove to be popular.

As you said, this is not an advertising board. There are many companies that support scoobynet and the scooby community buy paying for a banner. If you would like to advertise, please contact me on webmaster@scoobynet.co.uk
