My mate wanted one and went bought a Kit, it cost him well over 3 grand, He is still in the process of building it, but you have to get a license to fly them as your basically in control of a missile.

He got a Jetcat turbine to power it, Good fun starting the thing up in the Garden and annoying the neighbours

They are very very hard to fly as u have a split second to react and right its path, and you need to start right at the bottom (ie electric gliders) and progress through the ranks, with these being the fastest of them all

I had beginner electric plane, and used to fly it with an Rc club at Hough end fields, but it was so hard and i just crashed it all the time, was great fun tho tell you what it gets the old heart pumping.
A guy there had a jet similar to these ones and my god they was just so fast, but even after him flying them for 15 years his lasted about 2 months before it was smashed into 5x5 mm pieces
You dont get any chances with them if they hit the deck, its bye bye plane every time
