Default The 'Dam

Hello there all and one. I've been roped into organising a little trip to the 'Dam. Now some of you guys strike me as windmill/tulip fans, and was wondering who's the cheapest to fly with? I've heard of some companies giving discounts for big groups, is this true of hotels as well? (Don't really fancy getting bummed in a hostel).

Best flights will be BA or BMI if you are flying from Gatwick / Heathrow around 70 - 80 quid.

I usually book the flight and the hotel through www.expedia.co.uk but a group discount is usually tricky unless you are talking 30 or more, I think......

The Krasnapolsky is a nice hotel right on Dam Square.

There have been dozens of threads on Amsterdam so try a search. Make sure you check out the Banana Bar.......

Only Easyjet and VLM go from Liverpool I think. Easyjet start at around £40 return if you book far enough in advance, several flights per day.

Hardly a mighty post, but still bang on the money. Sure the "dam" is for tw@ts these days, has been for a while, and with the natives stiffing you by using bud shakers, you'll get far better weed from your local 'grow it in the bedroom' fu(kwits, maaan

Sounds like you are on business, but even so, it's only a 45 minute flight!
