Tattoos are fantastic, as long as they aren't covering large areas. Small of the back, lower stomach, shoulder, upper arm, butt cheeks are all very sexy with a tattoo on.
Slight caveat - the girl has to be tanned and in good shape, on a pasty white girl or fatties it just looks horrible.

I'm all for tattoos, hell I was one of the organisers of previous Mantra festivals 
BUT, what the point of doing something everybody else does.
The whole point is to be an individual, and that would be doing something differnt to everyone else....having the same lower back tatoo (or celtic band) as everyone else complete dilutes teh point of having one.
Bit like having an Impreza with gold wheels in WR blue
