Angry Mobile phones - deals aren't as good as they seem ...

Just trying to get a mobile phone upgrade, what looked like a good deal on Tinternet didn't seem so good when I called to discuss it.

Tinternet - Nokia N73 for free, 500 anytime minutes, 500 text messages, £17.50 for 6 months then £35 for remaining 6 months.

On phone - deal as above however you would always pay the £35 per month & need to claim back the difference every quarter ... WTF  !! You need to send off every quarter then presumably it would take forever for the cash to arrive (lost in the post Sir). They may even go bust off course before paying out ...

It got my blood boiling as what seemed good on the Advert is not really all that. Am I right to get the ump or am I just being an old git? Pain in the **** having to claim money back.

Are there any good monthly deals around for £15-20 a month?

TX.

I got half price line rental through fones4u, plus they gave me 60 quid cash to take the contract out.

was £20 for about 5 months now its £40 with 500mins, 250 txts and stop the clock (talk for 60 pay for 3 mins).

On Vodafone btw

You could get similar just haggle for longer 'half price line rental' to take u nearer the end of the contract.

Try 3.

I got a N80, 300mins voice (600 first 6 months), 1000 texts (2000 first 6 months), 50 mins video calls, 50 mms messages, 30MB internet download, £5 free downloads.
£30 per month (£15 for first six months)

No catches, no pay upfront and claim back.

My wife got a 6280 on the same tariff but with the half price line rental for 18 months.

Cheers

Not had any problems with coverage so far, as good as orange and better than T-Moblie so far. Video coverage is not 100% though.

Both Voice and Video minutes are cross network and anytime

Cheers
