What is a Muslim Scholar???
Seen reference to these 'scholars' in many publications - but what on earth are these people and what qualifications do they have?
It also seems like there is a lot of disagreement between these 'scholars' leading me to believe anyone can become one!
please enlighten...

Anybody can be a scholar. Further education of some sort, college, polytechnic or university would be the traditional British ones but I guess Muslims, Catholics and other religions will have their specific religious learning centres.
