Default mmmm.just test drove one of these ....

I know it should be in Other Marques, but what the hell.
A friend writes for a magazine and he had this on loan in black though

so he dropped by the office and we went for a spin
He, reluctantly, let me drive and since we were doing the out of london, a40 bit which I do every day, I knew it better.

Now I love my scoob, but this is something else......
(at this point I feel the need to insert some smiles that match the grin on my face )

I just looooooooved it, the noise it makes at 3k+ is just awesome, you would never tire of it and yet it is so easy to drive in traffic !
Now all i need to do is to find the odd 70k + down the back of the sofa.

next week we will trying out a gallardo(sp), various 's etc, so will tell you how they go

only downer was no flames out the back, but who cares

Nothing you couldn't sort out with a flamer kit from Halfords.

listen, you can even choose how long or short you want the fecking stitching on the cow hide, so I am guessing they wouldnt even bat an eyelid at gold wheels....

satnav man was annoying..no surprise there, the boot space is laughable, you cant see or begin to judge the nose and the brakes are all or nothing, but that all pales when you hear the V8

I borrowed one of these off a friend a couple of weekends ago for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon - what an absolutely fantastically brilliant noise above 4K rpm. Even get a nice burble when trickling along.

Interesting the reaction it got from the various people I showed it too, from my father "why did he lend you that, is he daft????", from one mate "hmm can't see Ford switchgear, they've done a good job", from another "I like the stereo" and from his brother above 4K rpm, well that's not worth quoting on a family website, but I can assure it was happy noises
