Great stuff, well done on going to a rescue place instead of lining the pockets of some breeder.

He looks a gem good on you for giving a rescue dog a home - we got our G/shepherd from Battersea, we were very lucky and count ourselves fortunate to be able to give him a home. In return he gave us such love & so many memories.... it's like they know that you want to give them a better life than they had before, and boy, do they reward you for it.

The dog I have now is my 4th rescue dog. People give them up for the silliest of reasons, but their loss is our gain.

its great to rescue a dog, i find it hard to believe people pay hundreds of pounds for a dog when there are dogs that NEED a home.

Ours above (flash!) was in an extermination pound in sheffield, an unwanted dog in a area where there are too many to be rehomed so they have to be put down.

Now look at him, chillin in a hamock!!

if i could give em all a good home i rescue lots, but it doesnt work like that!!
