George Lucas for bringing us the original Star Wars trilogy films

Mother Teresa for all her efforts with the poor

Adolf Hitler - for introducing the power of group psychosis into the lives of almost every living soul.

Robert Oppenheimer - for stopping him, and for introducing the concept of death and destruction on a magnificent scale into the lives of almost every living soul.

Webmaster - without whose hopelessly inept leadership of Scoobynet we wouldn't have the rich seam of entertainment I and many others enjoy on an almost daily basis.

There are some truly notable people who have achieved fabulously important things in the world - and there are many who just make the world a better place to be - so:

Peter Kaye - for 'Live at the Bolton Alberts' - and for making so many people laugh in a world that's very sh1tty most of the time

Brian Blessed - for his awesome love of life, his fabulous books and his attempts on Everest

Jamie Oliver - for getting off his backside and doing something about things he disagreed with or could change - School Dinners and 15 (a lesson to many of the armchair whingers on NSR!!)

Ronnie Barker- for making me laugh long and hard.

The Queen - for her great example to the rest of this country and never having done anything wrong in her life.
