Default Who's watched Bangla Banger's

Who's been watching a new series called "Global Garage Bangla Banger's " on Tuesday 10pm Discovery channel started last week
it's set in India with a Indian car designer and he's teamed up with a old English mechanic , it's fooking crazy , he taken a old Nissan and a Toyota and transformed them it to show car's , he's only got very basic tool's etc and a few week's but he's turned out some class car's

Yep - I've caught this show a couple of times and have quite enjoyed it! It's set in Bangladesh I believe. The arguments/disagreements that the Leepu (sp?) and the mechanic (Bernie?) have are great! The cars they've turned out aren't exactly 'finished' very well but - like you say - with the limited tools and parts, it's pretty damn impressive! Mind you - he COULD learn a couple of things about aerodynamics!

There's a surprise !
I bet he added a couple of extra seats so he could fit in more of the family but still ensured they could still get in plenty stock from the cash and carry.

The SVA must be a smidge more lax over there, I love the enthusiasm but would rather walk than actually drive in one (not just looks but I am not sure they connected the airbags safely).

Also the fact that the heaps he starts out with are astonomically priced. 1st weeks was £2.5k and the Toyota crown from last nights was £2k.

There fit for nothing, and yet it seems they can charge what they want.

Thought it a bit of a waste of time travelling 15 hours to get some flexible hose!!!! When they had to chop the dashboard out to enable to select reverse. Pure class!!!
