Yes, watch it religiously. Have to say though it's kind of slowing down, no? The first three seasons were some of the best TV ever made, the last three are still out above everything else, it's still the best thing on TV, but I think the bar was so high, it can't keep reaching the same heights.

The last season finished here in march, think the second half starts next spring, here........ the finale.

Hope Chase doesn't keep doing the dream sequences so heavily.........

Gents, the latest soprano's is so dissapointing. I downloaded it via bt, watched a few weeks. You only get to see the first 7 or 8 episodes as in the the US, the show has been stopped until late next year, when they will air the remaining 7 or so.

The earlier series were so much better, more volience, more gangster deals, this one is just absolute crap, which is ashame as I was so looking for to it.

I love sopranos... i remember i use to do 12 hour security shifts and i use to get through most of the episods, i havent seen season 6 yet and also missed the last 2 eps of season 5, so will be doing them soon.

I agree the earlier episodes were better, and they've moved away from the original levels of violence, but the current season is still very good! The acting and script is excellent, but the story has gone a bit wayward....... Wish they would cut the dream sequences, seems they are running out of ideas.........

Believe me, it gets worse !! Each episode, you hope that it sparks off, but no, more poor storylines. I really feel that this series shouldnt of bend made, and Sopranos should of been left on the high which was the last series was.

i started watching it again from series 1 a few months back. go to the end of 3 (i don't have the rest on dvd yet). have been watching series 6. still good IMHO, but not as "lively" as before in places - won't stop me watching it though!

Personally I Like this series, seems to me as it's the last series they're tying up all the loose ends, OK not so much violence but it will all come to a head, you can see already how their group is beginning to implode, everyone wants a piece of the action, wanting to be the big cheese looking to exploit others weaknesses, everyone's a possible target.

I particularly like to "new" Tony, he's a little deeper and a little more philosophical.

"Any chance of a mercy F*ck" PMSL, I always thought they'd get it on at some point, times running out!!

That was a bit of a poor story line, he's been looking to topple Tony all series, he's a caotain (i think) and he frequents a gay bar where the mob collect , Doh !! like you wouldn't be seen ?? you'd think he'd be a little more careful.

He's probably topped himself.

A series which turned out to be good was "Commander in Chief". Geena Davies becomes the US preseident. That was good and worth downloading.
