I had a large stutter when I was 5, it went away as I grew older but if I am in a situtation I am uneasy about, nervous, it does return but its very mild.
And no I don't stutter in my head when I type

Yes I know someone that does and it has blighted their life. Some people can brush it off and some can't.
The main problem is ignorance as to what it's all about and people making cheap jokes about it. dl
