Question does anyone on Scoobynet have a stutter?

just wondered what its like when you are typing. when i type i say the words inside my head, if you stutter do you stop typing until you get the words out?

i dont mean to offend anyone, was just interested

i don't stutter nor do i know anyone but this is stupid post and i'm always up for having a laugh. But don't think you thought about this one too well.

Agreed. Most people labeled 'disabled' would rather just be thought of as 'normal'. The PC brigade don't see it that way though....

But it wouldn't be normal to be a no-armed joiner, Or a decathlete when you're just an eye on a pillow, or something.

So how come a kid I was in school with, who stammered badly could read outloud from a book perfectly? I think its more of a brain thing than a gob/finger thing...

I had a large stutter when I was 5, it went away as I grew older but if I am in a situtation I am uneasy about, nervous, it does return but its very mild.

And no I don't stutter in my head when I type

Yes I know someone that does and it has blighted their life. Some people can brush it off and some can't.

The main problem is ignorance as to what it's all about and people making cheap jokes about it. dl
