the subaru is dead , long live the diesel van ;)
overheard a conversation whilst i was waiting at maccy D,s last time i was in there,
some bloke had chipped his diesel astra van and added a dump valve, apparantly by dropping it down two gears, he clould out accelerate scoobs...
didnt get to hear what the twisty performance was like, as i was nearly choking on my drink...

A Dump valve on a diesel? 
Err how does that work...seeing the engine always has no throttle and thus produces little or no vacuum to open it.

saab use them to, there suposed to be better and more technically efficient thanan atmos dv, as the released charge is sent back into the system reducing lag

Almost as good as neons for performance gains!! BTW Doesn't matter what you drive though, there will always be a white van wanting to get past!!
