Password Protected Domestic Phone
Is there anyway to "lock" a domestic phone from dialing out unless a pin number or such is entered first?

Would prefer if it was enabled on a handset TBH
spent 15 mins trying to ring my office phone last night while one of the staff was busy ringing his mate
he told me that he gave out the number to his mate so i wouldn't be charged for calls, which is surprising when the cctv footage sees him getting the number out his phone and then ringing his mate with the office one
he is in for a right royal bollocking at 11.30 when he arrives

I always use the Office phone for personal calls. Not that I use it all the time, but if I need to make a call, I'll (as well as the rest of the office) use their office phone.

You can disable call out from any handset but still allow calls in. You can even turn off call in on the other handsets so they can only be used to call the other stations. All PIN protected. As you have CCTV it should stop people bringing in their own corded phone and swapping the jacks to bypass the phone to make a call

Scrooge is alive and kicking!!!
so he made a phone call, hardly the end of the world!!
i would want to know why you wern't at work youself!!!
and are your staff aware that you have cctv spying on them??? what excuse do you use?? H&S
if it troubles you that much, just remove the phones when you go home, or get a phone lock

why was i not at work myself?
this lad works rotating shifts 8 hours per day 5 days a week, i work rotating shifts 10 hours a day 7 days a week, i am entitled to go home
the staff are aware there is cctv running, its not spying, its full blown in view, excuse?
i don't need an "excuse", the place has been robbed soooo many times in the past, excuses are not needed at all.
this is how it works, you give them an inch, they take a mile, 99% of employees are like this, best way is to give the little ****s 1mm and let them have the 1cm as a goodwill gesture
