Default Women & shoes - why?

I'm a woman - and I buy too many shoes - and I can't seem to part with many.

Why is it?

Today - saw a shoe shop closing down - got £150 worth of leather boots for £30. Bargain! I'll wear them loads through the winter - but if I hadn't seen them I wouldn't have gone looking for some (if that makes sense!)

Would a bloke walk past a bargain like that?

I have a very soft spot for bargains, and have a bit of a shopping addiction, too. Although I have calmed down in recent years, my wardrobe is full of stuff I will never wear, but can't bring myself to eBay it (most items are worn once and quite expensive)

If I see a nice pair of shoes, or trainers, that I like, I will buy them to put with the other three dozen pairs, and get round to wearing them at somepoint!

Last year I bought a new pair of trainers that I hadn't seen anywhere before, or since, and as they were so comfy, I ordered four more identical pairs, two of which are still in the box.......

I like shoes but only have a few pairs and will only replace them when I feel they need replacing!!

I have two pairs of black boots for work....in order to keep both pairs fresh I alternate.

I have two pairs of going out black shoes.

I have 2 pairs of going out brown shoes

I have a pair of going out brown boots

and I have 4 pairs of trainers....one for the pub, two for going out and one for playing out in.

My wife is very bad but my ex wife had about 50 pairs of shoes.....they had to be names aswell!!! She onces bought a pair of leopard print shoes (cant remember whos they were.....Manolo Blahnik maybe) and I dont remember her wearing them in the 5 years we were together.

Dont get me wrong they are very good quality but they are very expensive! I buy shoes that will last so do cost a few quid but would never spend that much money for a name!!

TBH she was quite tight sometimes and would look around the designer dress agencies in Harrogate before splashing out. She used to tell me she'd saved 300 quid on this pair of shoes by buying them there!!! They were still 300 quid though!! Hence EX.

Or computer bits! Although I admit to my shoe issue (though I do only ever buy stuff when it's massively reduced - don't think I own a full price piece of clothing!!) - hubby does have an equal IT hording problem.

We have anough spare parts for PCs and enough cable to support your average multinational conglomerate - but do I complain that he can only use on computer at a time? No I do not!
