Default Good 80's bands/albums

Was listening to Nik Kershaw this morning on the way to work. "Wouldn't It Be Good" is still a classic song

I also used to like Howard Jones, Simple Minds, Duran Duran and Spandau.

What's your faves from that era (the BEST era for music incidentally )??

The best album of the 80's IMO was New Order - Technique, closely followed by New Order - Substance
Def Leppard - Hysteria and Whitesnake 87 were two of the best rock albums of the era
Oh and from my pre 10 year old days, Thomson Twins and Duran Duran were jolly good also
Tally ho ginger!

Pet Shop Boys - Introspective.

Curse you for mentioning Nightflight to Venus! Now I've got Brown Girl in the ring going through my head again - couldn't get rid of it for days after I watched Touching The Void.
