Very sad news.
I had lunch with Peter's partner last Sunday at Goodwood, Peter joined us later after finishing his race. He was a really good guy who put a lot back into his comunity via the Peter Brock Foundation. Peter was the Richard Petty of Australian racing, he will be a huge loss to Motorsport Down under.
As for some of the comments in this thread, i am lost for words.

Peter Brock was a legend in motor racing. He holds the record of Bathurst wins in Oz and won many in a row. Quite a few limited edition Holden CommodoreV8 models were made through him and were called Brockies. He also appeared in many safety driving campaign commercials on TV and radio and will be sadly missed by most Australians. He was only 61. Very sad.
