Default Electronics bods...pressure transducers..

I need to cobble up a digital pressure gauge for work to read 0-10 bar, I can get a transducer cheap enough such as this , and I thought I could get a small ali box and an LCD display from RS to hold the gubbins, the transducer would be on a flying lead.

would a couple of PP3's in series be ok to power it, and what other components are involved? What do I need to convert the 0-20mA or 0-5v to something that the LCD display will understand? Is it complicated?

TIA

Chippy,

Quite easy,

Get a 4-20ma Loop meter, something like:

Connect it up to the transducer - calibrate - job done

Might be cheaper and easier to just buy a ready made pressure gauge.
