Default NTL Customer Services

Just spent 20 minutes on the phone on hold to get through to some dumb mare in India who couldn't understand a word I was saying.

Having just changed bank account details, I missed a DD payment so rung to request that payment is taken form my new account (details of which have been updated and acknowledged) but despite being the "Collections Department" they refused and said I must pay via PayPoint. Having never heard of it, I asked what it was and the lady said it was a way of paying your bill in thousands of shops in the uk. I asked which ones and guess what, she had to transfer me back to the uk.

Very polite and all that, but what a complete waste of time and effort.

I HATE OUTSOURCED CALL CENTRES WITH A PASSION :
