Bad day at work today.
Set off from Co Durham at 5.30am this morning to get to North Duffield ,near Selby.A journey that usually takes about 1 hour 45 mins, dam satnav takes me the wrong way ended up at customer's address at 8.15 am.Had to pick the keys up to gain entry to the customers house from the house next door.
Knocked on the house next door....no answer. This was pre-arranged for me, so the next door neighbour new what time i was arriving.
After an hour he decides to let me in to the property his excuse was that he had been waiting for me ,but did not see the'big blue and white van on the drive'i had only rung his bell about 20 times
So now running a couple of hours late ,the product i was installing develops a fault,1 hour later after i diagnose the problem and fix it i eventually leave the property and set off to my next job in Wetherby, whilst driving toward te A19 i lost a load of cash, due to my forgetfulnes this morning i did not pick my wallet up ,went to the cash machine and drew 120 crisp notes out and placed it in my little compartment in the van roof lining(cubby hole)as i hate item's in my pocket whilst driving.Had the window down quite low as it was warmish then all of a sudden i see £20 notes getting sucked out the window looks in the mirror to see 20's flying about hit the brakes ,turned round and went searching.About half an hour later driving up and down the road at 3Mph with hazards going i managed to retrive £60 due to the fact that the road was wet. But still £60 down and i thought this day can't get worse, but it did but that's another story as this is way to long already.
