Hi all. sorry to have to put a post up on here for this, but its doing my head in now, and ive spent hours looking, and still no nearer.

On the Red Arrows tv programme last night they used a song alot, mainly just the intro of it.
Started with a guitar riff or something. Thought it sounded like the strokes or white stripes, but im not too clued up on the latest music.

I know they played a Foo fighters song. but im after the other one.

sure it had 'something, something for nothing' in the lyrics.
but that might throw someone off.
I would hum it, but im crap.

any ideas would be so helpful.
